clients Magnolia Counseling is seeking a Child and Adolescent
Therapist to provide individual and family therapy in our warm and
welcoming private practice. This is a fee-for-service, Independent
Contractor (1099) position. We are specifically seeking a therapist
who is passionate about working with children and families and has
several years of experience with this population. A strong
applicant is one with at least two years of experience
(post-master's) in counseling children, a background in at least
two evidence-based therapies (CBT, Mindfulness, Attachment-Based
Therapy, ABA, Play Therapy, TF-CBT, PCIT, among others), and is
skilled at creating a safe and empathetic environment to connect
with children, adolescents, and their parents. Responsibilities
Conduct individual and family therapy sessions to support the
mental health of children and their families. Utilize various
therapeutic techniques, including play therapy and cognitive
behavioral therapy, to address behavioral and emotional issues.
Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Document client
progress and maintain accurate medical records. Collaborate with
parents, educators, and other professionals to provide
comprehensive care and support. Required Experience and Education
Licensed in PA is preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMFT). Master’s in
Counseling, Social Work, or related field Previous experience
providing individual and family therapy to children using
evidence-based therapies Schedule: After-school hours preferred
Choose your own days and client hours Weekends optional In-person
appointments for working with children, virtual as needed
