Job Description Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking
for a Clinical Research Nurse with prior clinical research
experience in a hospital or clinical setting. We are open to
candidates seeking temp-to-hire. Schedule: Monday- Friday (very
little evenings or weekends unless requested) 8-4:30 or 9-5 (30 min
lunch) The Clinical Research Nurse will perform nursing assessments
and procedures, such as conducting comprehensive nursing
assessments, obtain vital signs, review medications, document
patient information/instructions in the medical record, complete
appropriate forms. Perform any procedures required for the patient
such as drawing blood, conducting EKG's etc. Collect and interpret
clinical and research information related to the patient visit.
Appropriately field/triage patient telephone calls regarding
medication changes, clinical status, prescription renewals, or
changes in condition. Primary Responsibilities: Participant
Coordination: Coordinate the recruitment and enrollment of research
participants Database Management: Establish and maintain databases
of subjects. Study Visits: Schedule and conduct study visits. Data
Collection and Entry: Collect and enter data; register subjects and
study visits in On- Core. Billing Review: Perform Epic research
billing review. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain an up-to-date
regulatory binder. Sponsor Visits: Schedule and attend sponsor
visits. IRB Compliance: Prepare and submit IRB paperwork to ensure
compliance with IRB regulations. Phase depends on trial. Will
either be phase 2, 3 or 4 REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE PA Nursing
License, BLS from AHA or ARC Clinical Research Experience: At least
2 years of experience in clinical research within a hospital or
academic setting (experience from industry settings is not
applicable). Phlebotomy Skills: Ability to draw blood. Injection
Skills: Ability to perform injections.
