Job Description Job Description Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 The
Director of Business Development has overall responsibility for
developing and managing the business development process necessary
to meet or exceed JEMs annual sales goals. Seek and establish new
business opportunities by developing leads, making cold calls,
setting and attending prospects meetings, making presentations and
developing relationships with potential customers to develop new
business for JEM Group. In addition to client development and
relationship management, this role is responsible for executing the
companys business development process with consistency and
accountability. The Director of Business Development ensures
consistent pipeline management, alignment with marketing efforts,
and measurable progress toward company revenue goals while
maintaining a strong focus and long-term growth. Essential
Functions: Business development leadership, customer communications
and customer meetings. Employ a consultative approach to develop
relationships and support strategic objectives in alignment with
JEMs business plan. Develop new leads, qualify prospects and make
prospecting and customer calls. Lead bi-weekly business development
meetings and leverage CRM opportunity management. Work with
estimating department to align on bid schedules and pipeline Manage
and support strategy for submitting proposals. Consultative
business development approach with effective communication and
customer service for client satisfaction. Become familiar with the
JEM strategic plan and support the achievement of major objectives
as necessary. Ensure your daily action supports JEMs Purpose and
Core Values. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business or a
related field. Minimum of 5-7 years in sales, business development
and marketing. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and
written). Must be comfortable selling to C-level staff, technical
staff and facility management/maintenance staff. Balance time
between prospecting, networking, sales calls and existing customer
relationship management. Lead strategy for RFP responses, proposal
submissions and client presentations. Experience working
cross-functionally with marketing, estimating, operations, and
executive leadership. Capable of translating business development
activity into measurable outcomes and reporting. Experience with
General Construction, Design/Build, and Construction Management.
Knowledge of the Central PA and Southeaster PA markets. Advance
proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM. Benefits: 401(k) matching
