/ ResponsibilitiesNFF is seeking a Data Analyst with experience
with Trapeze and HASTUS for Bus and Rail scheduling, bidding and
daily operations. This role is for a Data Analyst who will
translate complex data into actionable insights that inform
strategic business decisions. This role involves collaborating
closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand
their needs, develop analytical solutions, and present findings
clearly. The position requires expertise in data analysis
techniques, strong communication skills, and a keen interest in
uncovering patterns within data. It is also essential for this
resource to be able to learn HASTUS to provide ongoing support to
the Bus and Rail Scheduling Operations teams.
- Ability to learn HASTUS to provide ongoing support to the Bus
and Rail Scheduling Operations teams.
- Review system specific data elements and work with stakeholders
to define and document interface requirements to implement new
system interfaces.
- Work with subject matter experts and system admins to document
existing system interfaces and data flows within the
enterprise.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business
requirements and translate them into specific analytical
tasks.
- Design, develop, and execute complex data analysis tasks.
- Collect, clean, and prepare large datasets for analysis,
ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Perform statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive
modeling to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data
and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Present complex data analysis results in a clear and concise
manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven improvements
and contribute to the development of data-driven strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, sharing knowledge and best
practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest data analysis techniques and
tools.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of data analysis
processes and methodologies.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- 8 Years Experience Knowledge of strategic IT solutions and
hands-on experience in software development.
- 8 Years Experience solving complex IT issues.
- 8 Years Experience Proficiency with programming languages such
as JavaScript, Java, SQL, Oracle.
- 5 Years Experience Familiarity with operating systems such as
Windows, UNIX and databases.
- 5 Years Experience Solid understanding of statistical concepts
and methods.
- 5 Years Experience with data mining and predictive modeling
techniques.
- 5 Years Excellent data visualization and communication skills,
with the ability to explain complex data in a simple and
understandable way.
- 5 Years Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelors and Master's degree in computer science or a related
field or equivalent experience.
- Experience mentoring junior analysts is a plus.NFF
