Distribution Delivery Manager - Permanent Full Time / South
Metro Depot (Forrestdale WA)We are seeking a dynamic leader to
manage a technically skilled and safe workforce in the scoping,
planning, and delivery of customer network connection projects.
This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring overall customer
service and satisfaction, while optimizing processes to deliver
maximum value at the lowest cost to Western Power.Key
responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safe delivery of customer projects and meeting
core objectives of safety, reliability, and affordability.
- Setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and
ensuring successful outcomes for the team and the business.This
position is ideal for someone who excels in leading teams, driving
operational excellence, and delivering high-quality results in a
customer-focused environment.Your Role in Action
- Manage the safe delivery of the distribution works program for
customer connection services.
- Responsible for overall customer service and satisfaction;
ensuring processes are optimized to provide value at the lowest
possible cost.
- Ensure all employees are trained and competent for their
assigned work.
- Identify safety exposure areas and develop strategies to
minimize risks.
- Collaborate with SEQT representatives to review safety
investigations and approve outcomes promptly.
- Model Western Power's values and support strategic
initiatives.
- Develop effective relationships with other Area Managers to
ensure alignment and consistency.What Makes You a Great Fit
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Engineering, or
related discipline, or significant relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge of program and project management within a
customer service or operational environment.
- Strong understanding of operations, preferably in a
distribution or transmission business, with project management
experience in field works.
- Proven skills in planning, organizing, resource management,
budgeting, and quality assurance.
- Collaborative approach to building effective partnerships
within the organization.
- Experience in developing and maintaining a safe working
environment.
- Excellent organization and time management skills to handle
competing priorities.
- Knowledge of budgeting and finance systems, including
