The Global Tools & Storage (GTS) division of SBD, which drives $10B of the total $14B business, is currently seeking an Associate Brand Strategist to join the Commercial side of the DEWALT brand. This position will report to a DEWALT Brand Strategist, as part of the Global Customer Experience (GCX) team. This position will support the brand team in strategic and creative marketing solutions that help connect the DEWALT brand to specific target audiences to drive awareness, consideration and advocacy.

What You'll Do:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Brand Strategist who will work cross-functionally to support product launch strategies, nurture brand health and drive demand for the DEWALT business. With a close attention to detail, you will offer support at all stages of a product launch from initial research to packaging all the way to in-store execution.


+ Leads category-level marketing execution including packaging, photography, digital content development, brochures / printed material, sales kits, video content, events and activations (sampling, demos, trade shows, etc.) with support from direct supervisor.

+ Collaborates with Insights, Studio, Digital, Product Development and Channel teams to develop new product innovation and full commercialization plans.

+ Working with the insights team, identify end user barriers and drives meaningful marketing communications with high relevance to our target audiences.

+ Be an advocate for our end user and their needs.

+ Is a steward of the Brand across the organization - Adherence to Brand Guidelines as well as manages brand creative assets (photography, packaging, etc.) to provide to multi-functional partners.

+ Processes PO's and invoices per Stanley Black and Decker delegation of authority.

+ Partners with global Brand counterparts in other regions to drive synergies and scale.

+ Based on the set strategy and vision, seek out new ideas, take inspiration from internal and external sources for best-in-class activation to drive engagement and advocacy for the DEWALT brand.

+ Keeps a close eye on competitive trends to keep DEWALT as the market leader.
