Meet our professionals CGI A place to build an IT career Position Description CGI is looking for a Lead Business Analyst with an emphasis on Medicare Advantage risk adjustment skills for a large CMS healthcare program. The successful candidate will interface with clients and teams to gather business and functional requirements, and perform analysis throughout the Agile lifecycle. As a Leader, work directly with teams and other areas. Your future duties and responsibilities bull Identify and validate clientsapos business needs and requirements bull Evaluate output from risk adjustment modelling runs bull Evaluate Diagnosis, Encounter and output from risk adjustment modelling runs bull Lead requirements workshopsJAD sessions to identify business needs and requirements bull Document, propose, and refine business processes, business flows, rules and artifacts, and propose business processes, business flows, rules and artifacts bull Produce detailed requirements documents, including use cases and requirements traceability matrices bull Provide leadership and mentoring to more junior business analysts bull Ensure that requirements are tracked, updated, and approved according to best practice and established processes using Confluence and Jira bull Analyze requirements, defects, and production issues Required qualifications to be successful in this role bull 7 years of Business Analysis experience. Prior experience in the role of a BA Lead health IT experience preferred bull Strong experience with risk adjustment modelling, including processes, analysis, and use of statistical tools bull Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills bull Ability to utilize tools, processes, and effective communication channels to track, update, and report changes, requirement volatility and other metrics bull Client-facing position, requiring excellent client interaction skills in support of formal requirements gathering sessions (e.g., JAD sessions), as well as informal requirements sessions (e.g., one-on-one meetings) bull Curiosity, adaptability and the willingness to learn new methodologies will be a determining factor in assessing the fit between the candidate and our organization bull Ability to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex and diverse environment with multiple and changing demands bull Ability to work independently and conduct self-directed research Desired Experience bull Experience with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Advantage organizations bull CMS Medicare beneficiary data, determination of risk adjustment a plus Education bull Bacheloraposs Degree or equivalent experience bull CSM certification a plus CGIFederalJob Skills Business Analysis Agile Business Analysis What you can expect from us Build your career with us.
