About Us Desi Fresh Foods is a leading "cultured" dairy manufacturer with over 23 years of experience. We produce high-quality and consistent products, which include yogurt (Dahi or Indian, Greek and traditional), smoothies / yogurt drinks, sour cream, and dips from single serve options to food service side. We are currently seeking a skilled Facility Porter to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our facility in Frederick Country, Virginia! About the Role We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse or manufacturing facility. Two Shift Openings: - Monday through Friday: 6 am-3 pm ET - Monday through Friday: 3 pm-11 pm ET Responsibilities - Operate forklift safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse. - Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas. - Stack materials in designated areas, following proper storage procedures. - Inspect forklift for any mechanical issues and report them to maintenance. - Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Assist with inventory control and order fulfillment as needed. Qualifications - Previous forklift operating experience required - Combi-Lift / Reticulated Lift experience is a plus - Valid forklift operator certification preferred - Strong safety record - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Attention to detail and accuracy - Good physical condition and stamina We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
