Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking a Junior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support a large federal government initiative. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, agile environment where your contributions will directly impact security posture and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls, support audits, and assess risk across hybrid cloud environments. Your future duties and responsibilities: • Analyze and design security controls for on-premises, public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. • Prepare documentation packages for regulatory submissions and support internal/external audits. • Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agency interactions on defined matters. • Conduct information security maturity assessments and help clients develop security roadmaps. • Identify and quantify business risks and implement compliance measures aligned with policy and standards. • Maintain and develop technical documentation to support security initiatives. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering. • Minimum of 1 years of relevant professional IT experience • Active Top Secret Clearance (TS).
