Opportunity: CACI is seeking a subject matter expert (SME) Systems
Engineering Architect to support a training network that replicates
an operational enterprise environment. Responsibilities include
defining requirements, designing and implementing the environment,
making enhancements as needed, and maintaining secure, realistic,
and rapidly reconfigurable training networks. Be part of a

requirements with stakeholders to help provide best of breed
solutions for customer mission. Design, document, analyze, and
implement technical capabilities Virtual Networks (e.g. SDN)
Virtual Machines and containers Automated deployments of virtual
networks and machines API integration and abstractions for
automation using a variety of technical exeperience (COTS/GOTS/OSS)
Making enhancements as needed, oversight on iterative development
and deployment milestones for continuous improvement Maintaining
secure, realistic and rapidly reconfigurable training networks
across a diverse set of Windows and Linux environments Strong
ownership of technical solutions for exceptional customer
capability outcomes Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in
computer science or related field Active Top Secret/Sensitive
Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with polygraph
Ability to evaluate and recommend complex process improvements and
new and emerging technologies to meet customer requirements 10
years of demonstrated experience in VMware solutions (e.g. ESXi,
VCenter, NSX) 10 years in developing high-level, scalable, and
secure system architectures to include demonstrated proficiency in
a major systems lifecycle methodology such as ITIL, ITSM, and/or
SDLC methodologies 10 years demonstrated experience managing
complex system lifecycles, working with multiple teams to
coordinate business needs to technical solutions 10 years with
experience driving technical solutions between customers and
vendors, demonstrating exceptional communication skills to
translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders Prior
experience in a senior or lead technical role, modernizing legacy
systems, and delivering mission critical systems Hands on
experience with AI technologies incorporated with network and
virtual infrastructure Deep knowledge of system architecture
patterns (monolithic, microservices, event-driven, SOA) and ability
to define end-to-end system architecture artifacts (C4 diagrams,
UML, ADRs, system specs, Visio network designs, rack layouts)
Desired: Strong understanding of Cyber Security fundamentals at
network, hypervisor, and application levels Ability to help
facilitate technical stack options and tradeoffs (e.g. VMWare ESXi
vs Linux KVM vs container in Kubernetes) for multifaceted training
and testing infrastructure. Sound judgment, problem-solving, and
decision-making skills with an ability to adapt to emerging issues
and changing priorities under short deadlines Experience
implementing and documenting standard operating procedures of
systems or networks Experience providing systems and security
documentation for compliance traceablilty, change management, and
process review milestones Relevant certification such as Certified
Solutions Architect Experience with Cisco ACI technology, layer 2
and 3 network segregation, and tenant architectures Experience with
Atlassian Tools (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo) Experience
with Infrastructure as Code methodologies and tech stack tradeoffs
Experience with CI/CD design and implementation Ability to
collaborate with and present information to customers with diverse
backgrounds, directly coordinate across multiple projects and

final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location,
Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage
rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and
