Job Description:
SODO Support System Engineer (SE4) Salary: Up to $150K, based on
education and experience Security Requirements: Active TS/SCI
clearance w/ FS Poly Location: FT. Meade, MD. Education and
Experience: • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer
science, information systems,engineering, or other related
discipline plus at least 10 years of systems engineering
experience. • A Master's degree or PhD may be substituted for two
years of experience. • A high school diploma or GED plus 14 years
of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
Certifications : None. Job Description: As an Operations Data
Support SE4 on our team you will provide systems engineering
support to a customer data support organization that can define,
integrate, and understand the operations of systems (product,
service, analytics) with the emphasis on the satisfaction of
stakeholder functional, physical, and operational performance
requirements in the intended use of its planned life cycle.
Responsibilities include supporting the following: • The Data
Extension and Reduction process (DERP): DERP is a streamlined,
transparent, codified process and technical solution for data
retention that supports timely and informed decision-making. • The
Historic Data Migration (HDM) of systems via transition and
decommission. Characterization of data to ensure all data migrated
supports mission requirements. Individual Capabilities/Experience
Required: • Strong experience in integrations with corporate
repositories. • Define, develop, and document operational support
concepts leading to development and implementation of requirements,
specifications, and design plans. • Planning and tracking
requirements management, QA, risk management, and status reporting.
• Perform functional analysis including decomposition of
requirements to low-level functions, allocation of performance and
other limiting requirements to all functional levels. • Ability to
facilitate multiple sync engagements with partner organizations per
month Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired: • Experience with
IC industry and customer, including mission domain experience in
T&D lifecycle support. • Experience in Transitioning and
decommissioning system lifecycle to include historic data migration
(HDM).
