Job Description:
As a Service Desk Specialist at ManTech, you will provide
critical support in technology and help desk operations for our
innovative IT solutions that serve mission-critical national
security programs. Your expertise will ensure the smooth function
of information systems that are pivotal to our intelligence
community, the Department of Defense, and various federal agencies.
This role demands a passionate and detail-oriented individual who
is dedicated to solving complex IT issues and providing outstanding
customer service. Provide first-level contact and problem
resolution for all users with hardware, software, and applications
problems. Resolve as many user-reported problems as expertise
permits using available tools and following procedures and policies
for the handling of support cases. Escalate unresolved calls to
appropriate support specialist or service group. Accurately log all
Service Desk tickets using the defined tracking software. Perform
user account management and assistance in password and username
retrieval. Coordinate with network services and information systems
groups to restore service and identify and correct core problems.
Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems. Strong
knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech
products. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
Proficiency in remote desktop applications and help desk software.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. CompTIA A
certification. ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
