Job Description:

TIAG is now hiring a Data Analytics/SharePoint Developer to join our team supporting the Navy International Programs Office (NIPO). NIPO is tasked with advancing maritime partners and allies in support of U.S. security interests. TIAG supports NIPO in project management, requirements management, development and maintenance of knowledge management tools, and data analytics.This position is hybrid, reporting onsite 2 days per week at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC. An active secret clearance is required; US or Naturalized citizenship is mandatory.Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate on a high-performing SharePoint team to design and develop SharePoint Online site architectures supporting business operations, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
• Engineer end-to-end data solutions using SharePoint Online, Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Apps, integrating multiple data sources for real-time dashboards, KPIs, and insights.
• Build data models and implement data transformation logic with Power Query, DAX, and SQL for analytics and reporting.
• Design analytical tools and predictive models to identify trends and forecast outcomes for strategic insights.
• Apply data science techniques such as regression, clustering, classification, and NLP to large datasets.
• Utilize APIs, data connectors, and scripts to automate data extraction and transformation from various sources.
• Develop visual reports and dashboards in Power BI to support decision-making.
• Serve as a resource for data governance, metadata strategies, data quality, and compliance within Microsoft 365 environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, develop prototypes, and refine solutions aligned with KPIs.
• Train users and site owners in SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 tools to promote analytics adoption.
• Support contract reporting by presenting operational metrics to NIPO leadership.Required Experience:
• U.S. Citizen with an active DOD Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and minimum 8 years of experience, including 5+ years in SharePoint development; candidates with 10+ years of experience may qualify without a degree.
• Strong data analytics and data science background, including experience with data modeling, mining, statistical computing, and machine learning techniques such as NLP, neural networks, clustering, and predictive analytics.
• Experience with large datasets, ETL processes, and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Expertise in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and scripting in Python or R.
• Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, or similar cloud data platforms is a plus.
• Ability to apply analytics to operational challenges and communicate findings clearly.
• Knowledge of metadata strategies, data classification, and Microsoft 365 content management.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with the Department of Defense or U.S. Navy is preferred.
