Job Description:
The selectee will serve as a Statistician in the Office of Human
Resources, Law Enforcement Acquisition Division. Typical work
assignments include: Developing and maintaining applicant
recruitment and hiring models for major job categories,
occupational series, and targeted segments of the recruitment and
hiring pipelines. Designing evaluations and program monitoring
techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of
recruitment and hiring efforts. Implementing quality control
measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data,
statistical analyses, and model outputs. Interpreting and
communicating complex statistical findings and recommendations to
stakeholders at all levels of the organization through written
reports, presentations, briefings, and visualizations. Apply for

models and metrics. This Statistician position starts at a salary
of $121,785.00, GS-13, step 1, with promotion potential to
187,093.00, GS-14 step 10. Conditions of employment U.S.

needs and interests of the agency; whether your continued
employment would advance organizational goals of the agency or the
Government; and whether your continued employment would advance the
efficiency of the Federal service. Upon completion of your
probationary period your employment will be terminated unless you
