Job Description Job Description Duties: Organize cake orders by production date and time. Stack, fill and decorate custom order cakes. Print edible images on an edible image paper for special orders. Consult with sales staff on cake designs. Tutor and mentor less experienced cake decorators and staff. Occasional cake deliveries. Experience: Minimum one year of professional cake decorating experience in a retail bakery or home business. Must have artistic abilities. Skills: Intermediate cake decorating skills and artistic skills for custom order cakes. Most of our customers order custom cakes vs. standard designs. Many provide images to use as a cake decorating guide or template. This includes wedding cakes. Style: Work environment can sometimes be hectic. Must be able to stay focused and work in a team environment to keep production schedules. Organization and patience required. Must be able to get along with a variety of personalities. Temperament: Warm, friendly, upbeat, positive personality works best for this position
