Roles include Baking, Barista, Sandwich Making, and Customer Service. Join our team as a Full-Time Retail Baker at our Fresh Baguette Bethesda bakery cafe, 4919 Bethesda Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814. This is an hourly, full-time role where you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, creating delicious baked goods and building meaningful relationships with customers. You will be training for the Germantown opening at our other locations prior to the opening day. What You'll Do - Provide friendly and prompt customer service. - Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently at the cash register. - Offer product recommendations to enhance customer experience. - Bake a variety of breads and baked goods to perfection. - Prepare products for the next day’s baking schedule. - Organize and maintain the freezer and fridge areas. - Pack away delivery items and ensure proper storage. - Set up the bread display to ensure an inviting presentation. - Clean and sanitize the baking station after use. - Ensure compliance with store safety, sanitation, and food storage standards. - Make and serve baked goods, sandwiches, salads, breads, and pastries with attention to detail and care. - Pay close attention to product displays and maintain cleanliness throughout the store. - Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers.
