Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Prepares and
cooks a variety of grilled foods for patients, staff, and visitors
in accordance with hospital dietary standards and food safety
regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operate grills and other cooking
equipment to prepare menu items including burgers, chicken, fish,
and vegetables Follow standardized recipes and portion control
guidelines to ensure consistent quality Prepare special diet orders
as directed by dietary services (low-sodium, diabetic-friendly,
etc.) Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area, equipment,
and utensils Monitor food temperatures and document in compliance
with health department regulations Stock and rotate food supplies
following FIFO (first in, first out) procedures Assist with food
preparation, plating, and service during meal periods Adhere to all
hospital food safety and infection control policies QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) 1-2 years of
experience in food service or commercial cooking preferred Food
Handler's Certificate required (or ability to obtain within 30
days) Knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation
standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
