Job Description Ob/Gyn Opening in Culpeper, VA 70 miles from Washington, DC Position Details: Full-time, permanent opening Employed Seeking to employ a Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician to join an amazing team. Join a recognized leader in OB/GYN, where your input will be valued at our practice. Affiliated with the University of Virginia Medical Center, widely recognized for its quality of care and the 1 Hospital in Virginia, according to U.S. News and World Report. Providers care for women with both low- and high-risk pregnancies. The obstetrics and gynecological surgeons and maternal-fetal medicine sub-specialists work with referring physicians in the community to provide comprehensive care to women with high-risk pregnancies. When medically necessary, the practice works with affiliated medical center nearby to transfer care, where the NICU and other advanced services are available for women and babies. Seven call shifts per month (24-hour) Day after call there are no clinical responsibilities 50-60 deliveries/month Average of 24 patients a day in clinic Blocked OR time Access to Davinci robot Loan repayment offered Qualifications: Candidates must possess an MD or DO, have completed an OB/GYN residency, and be board certified or an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Excellent clinical skills, a passion for delivering care in a community setting, enthusiasm for medical education, and an interest in collaborating in clinical research are encouraged.
