Join a perioperative team in a welcoming Pennsylvania community. /n/nJob Details / Travel Nurse Assignment/n /n - Location: Lebanon, PA 17042 (Lebanon County) — Pennsylvania nursing jobs / Lebanon PA nursing jobs/n - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)/n - Role: CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) / Cardiac OR RN / Perioperative Nurse (Travel RN)/n - Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (06:45 – 15:15), Monday–Friday/n - Call Requirements: Every 3rd day and at least 1–2 weekends per month (weekday call coverage 15:00–07:00; 48 hours on weekends)/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - Setting: Cardiac Open Heart Surgery (CVOR) with expectation to assist in General OR cases as needed/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,780 - $2,920 per week/n /n/nMinimum Qualifications / Requirements/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience (cardiac OR / open heart surgery)/n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — no license hits accepted/n - Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)/n - EPIC charting experience required/n - Willingness to participate in call rotation and work occasional weekends/holidays/n - COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)/n - Ability to work in a tobacco- and fragrance-free facility/n /n/nKey Responsibilities/n /n - Provide skilled perioperative nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac (CVOR) and general surgical procedures/n - Assist surgical teams during open-heart procedures, invasive cardiac monitoring, and general OR cases as needed/n - Respond to emergent surgical needs while on call and participate in unit call rotation/n - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC and ensure compliance with perioperative policies/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including anesthesia, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, and case management/n - Follow infection control, fire safety, universal protocol, and patient safety standards/n - Support a patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes and efficient workflow/n /n/n This travel nurse opportunity is ideal for experienced CVOR RNs seeking a short-term assignment in Pennsylvania that offers high-acuity cardiac experience and a supportive surgical team.
