Medical Care is expanding, and we are looking for a dedicated and
compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to help launch our
brand-new Reston, VA location. This is a premier opportunity to
join a high-energy, multi-physician group that seamlessly blends
the long-term relationships of a traditional Family Practice with
the fast-paced efficiency of a modern Primary & Walk-in center. Key
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services,
including annual physical exams, preventive wellness visits, and
chronic disease management for conditions such as diabetes,
hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and asthma. Diagnose and treat acute
illnesses and minor injuries in an urgent care setting, ensuring
timely and evidence-based care. Order, perform, and interpret
diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies, point-of-care
testing, and imaging such as X-rays, to support accurate clinical
decision-making. Prescribe medications and develop individualized
treatment plans tailored to each patient’s medical history,
lifestyle, and clinical needs. Perform minor in-office procedures,
including suturing, wound care, splinting, incision and drainage,
and skin biopsies, as clinically indicated. Provide IV hydration
therapy for wellness, hydration support, fatigue, migraine relief,
and immune support, following established protocols and safety
standards. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient
documentation using Athena EMR, ensuring proper coding, billing,
and continuity of care. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse
practitioners, and medical assistants to promote efficient patient
flow, high-quality care, and a positive patient experience across
primary care, urgent care, and aesthetic services. What We’re
Looking For Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited NP.
Licensure: Valid Virginia State License (or ability to obtain) and
DEA registration. Clinical Excellence: Proven experience in Family
Practice, Urgent Care, or Internal Medicine. Tech Proficiency:
Experience with Athena EMR is a significant advantage. Attributes:
