is available in a K-12 school setting near Glen Burnie, MD,
offering a full-time, year-round contract opportunity. This role
supports children and young adults ages 3-21, providing therapeutic
services within an educational environment. The position requires
delivering care based on comprehensive knowledge of sensory-motor
development, musculoskeletal function, and appropriate therapeutic
interventions. Key Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy
evaluations and individualized treatment plans for students with
diverse disabilities aged 3-21. Utilize knowledge of orthotics,
wheelchairs, adaptive positioning equipment, and assistive devices
tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educational and
healthcare teams to develop and implement effective therapy
strategies. Participate in training sessions and consults, some
occurring during early morning or evening hours. Maintain
documentation and communicate progress to stakeholders throughout
the academic year and the Extended School Year (ESY) summer
program. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current licensure
by the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
Comprehensive understanding of normal and abnormal sensory-motor
development and musculoskeletal dysfunction. Skilled in evaluation
and treatment techniques for children and young adults with
multiple disabilities. Experience with orthotic devices,
wheelchairs, and assistive technology. Ability to work a flexible
schedule including 35 hours per week Monday through Friday, with
some flextime available. Location: Glen Burnie, Maryland, within a
