ICU/Critical Care RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20032! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care
Unit Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours
Experience: 3 Years of ICU Experience Required License: Current
license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state
Certifications: NIHSS, BLS & ACLS Required Must-Have: Graduate of
an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN Highly Desired
Description: Must live 50 miles away. Three shifts of 12 hours
each. The role requires providing care for neurological,
neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology,
cardiothoracic, and trauma patients. Various technologies are
utilized in caring for and treating critical care patients. This
includes ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors,
pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC
lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous
pulse oximetry, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT),
gastric tubes, and intravenous infusion pumps. The position
involves fulfilling the needs of patients, families, and the
community by performing a variety of patient care functions and
tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and
