Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing
speech-language support to K-12 students requires dedication,
skill, and compassion. This full-time contract opportunity in the
Washington DC area offers a chance to make a meaningful impact
within a school setting serving elementary and middle school
students. Candidates with Active Virginia SLP licensure, including
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders or Clinical
Fellows requiring supervision, are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include: - Delivering speech-language therapy
services to students with caseloads typically around 50, and no
more than 55 - Managing caseloads across no more than two schools
to maintain quality support - Collaborating with educators and
school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment
plans - Completing all required documentation and progress
monitoring in accordance with school policies - Participating in
credentialing requirements such as Virginia Department of Social
Services check and TB testing prior to start date Preferred
Qualifications: - Active Virginia SLP licensure is required - CCC
certified candidates preferred; Clinical Fellows will be supervised
- Experience working in schools is a plus, but not mandatory -
Flexibility to work part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) or full-time
(37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday) - Strong organizational
and communication skills This contract role begins ASAP and runs
through the end of May. Assignments are based on a fit that will be
