Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and home-based patient care, is seeking a Director of Therapy Operations to lead our therapy teams across inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health, and hospice care services. This role demands a dedicated individual prepared to enhance operational efficiency, ensure the highest standards of patient care, and drive innovative therapy services programs. The Director of Therapy Operations will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, manage therapy services across multiple settings, and uphold our commitment to improving lives and surpassing patient outcomes. Oversee therapy operations across inpatient, home health, and hospice settings. Develop, implement, and evaluate therapy programs to ensure optimum patient outcomes. Lead and mentor therapy managers and staff, fostering a collaborative environment. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in therapy practices. Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and develop strategic plans for department growth. Analyze therapy outcomes and patient satisfaction metrics to drive continuous improvement. Strong leadership and people management skills In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements in healthcare therapy services Proficient in budget management and resource allocation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and implement strategic and operational plans Analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist is highly desirable Certification in healthcare management (e.g., FACHE) preferred
