Job Description:
Position Objective: To promote the delivery of high-quality,
cost-effective health care through the provision of expert clinical
education and professional development. Collaborates with
leadership team, clinical education team, and clinical staff in:
the planning and implementation of organizational and departmental
goals, creating a climate of innovation through role-modeling,
consultation, research, and the facilitation of learning. Essential

Provides professional support to internal and external customers

Acts as a resource for staff members. Demonstrates ability to
assess the need for, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality,
cost-effective educational programs for staff. Maintain educational
records. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates orientation
programs for new staff. Assists in development of competencies for
clinical staff. Collaborates with other departments/nursing areas
to ensure consistency and to avoid duplication. Promotes the
advancement of nurses by offering a variety of learning
opportunities planned for nurses in different stages of the Novice
to Expert continuum. Educational/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing. Master`s Degree in Nursing, Nursing
Professional Development Certification preferred. Minimum of three
as a Registered Nurse in acute care setting. Required
License/Certifications: American Heart Association Healthcare
Provider BLS. Specialty Certification required. Professional
Organization Membership required. Current licensure as a registered
nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing. Adherence to credentialing
requirements of Luminis Health's as stated in the nursing bylaws.
