qualifications will not be considered. A specialty retail pharmacy
is seeking two experienced per diem pharmacists to join their team.
This role involves supporting a pharmacy dedicated to serving
patients with complex medication regimens, often managing 8-15
medications daily. The ideal candidates will have strong retail
and/or specialty pharmacy backgrounds and excel in patient
consultation and disease state management. Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert medication therapy management and consultation to
patients with chronic, advanced disease states such as diabetes,
hypertension, and multiple sclerosis. Communicate effectively with
a diverse patient population, including Medicare/Medicaid and
low-income patients, many of whom may have low literacy levels.
Utilize Pioneer Rx software to manage prescriptions and maintain
accurate records. Deliver compassionate care with a focus on
patient outcomes rather than volume, ensuring each individuals
therapeutic needs are met. Desired Qualifications: Licensed
pharmacist with active PA state licensure. Strong retail and/or
specialty pharmacy experience, ideally with a background in
managing complex medication therapies. Excellent consultation
skills with the ability to explain complex medication regimens
clearly and patiently. Experience with Pioneer Rx software is
highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with vulnerable
populations, showing empathy and patience. Location:Washington, PA
Schedule: Per diem, with multiple regular shifts available. This
