for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease The Dell Medical School
at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Children s Medical
Center (DCMC) is seeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist with
specialization in interventional cardiology to support our rapidly
growing team within the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital
Heart Disease (TCPCHD) a collaboration between UT Health Austin
(the clinical practice of Dell Medical School) and Dell Children s
Medical Center, which was recently ranked No. 10 in the nation for
Pediatric Cardiology and Heart Surgery in the U.S. News & World
Report Best Children s Hospitals rankings. About The Pediatric
Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiologist Position We are recruiting
for an experienced senior level heart failure/transplant
cardiologist with opportunity for a leadership role. The ideal
candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient
care, leadership, and innovation alongside our team of
cardiologists and advanced practice providers. Although patient
care is our primary focus, education and research are also
encouraged and supported with access to dedicated research
professionals including a statistician, research manager, and
research coordinators. Our practice is located in central Austin,
providing inpatient and outpatient support for all of central Texas
and beyond. The position encompasses responsibilities in patient
care, administration, program development and growth, team
building, safety, quality and access for transplant services. This
position will work with the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and the
leadership of the TCPCHD to execute on yearly personal and
programmatic goals focused on the fundamentals of extraordinary
care. Close collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics and
various departments from UT Health and The University of Texas at
Austin are expected and supported. Routine patient care will
include: Outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation, supervision of
advanced practice providers, and hospital service. Live in Austin a

the full range of clinical care to include diagnosis and management
of heart failure, ventricular assist devices (VADs), heart
transplant evaluation/listing, and management of patients

experience at higher volume centers and demonstrated leadership
