Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Towson,
Maryland, 21204! Job Title: MS/Tele Registered Nurse Profession:
Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Oncology Duration: 8
weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30)
Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted with
more than 1 healthcare facility experience preferred. License:
Active RN state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIH
Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Experience with
patient ratios of 1:5 Charting system experience preferred (Epic)
General Med/Surg, Medical/Surgical Telemetry, and Oncology
experience Description: The MS/Tele RN is responsible for providing
high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role
requires a thorough understanding of medical/surgical oncology
nursing practices. The nurse will manage a diverse patient
population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Duties
include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and
providing patient education. The nurse will be expected to maintain
telemetry monitoring and manage non-titrating cardiac drips.
Floating within the specialty and to lower acuity units is required
as necessary. Weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory as
scheduled. The position promotes interdisciplinary collaboration
and effective communication. Strong assessment skills and the
ability to interpret data are essential for success in this role.
