Job Description GHR Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Towson, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/09/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Med Surg Tele RN Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across medical, surgical, and telemetry populations. Supports stabilization, recovery, and continuous cardiac monitoring in a fast paced acute care environment. Responsibilities: • Perform head to toe assessments and monitor patient conditions • Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage continuous telemetry monitoring • Administer medications and implement evidence based care plans • Provide care for a variety of medical and post surgical patients • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, safe care • Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record Requirements: • Active state RN license or compact license if applicable • Minimum two years of Med Surg or Telemetry RN experience • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and diverse patient care environment If you'd like, I can also create a shorter version for job boards or a candidate outreach message.
