GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room for a travel nursing job in Towson, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/09/2025 - Duration: 9 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Pediatric ED RN Provides emergency care to infants, children, and adolescents presenting with acute, urgent, and life threatening conditions. Delivers rapid assessment, stabilization, and family centered care in a fast paced pediatric emergency environment. Responsibilities: • Perform pediatric focused triage and determine acuity based on clinical presentation • Provide immediate interventions for trauma, respiratory distress, fever, seizures, allergic reactions, and other pediatric emergencies • Administer medications, IV therapies, and assist with procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, and respiratory treatments • Monitor patient condition and reassess frequently in a dynamic, high stress setting • Communicate clearly and compassionately with families, addressing concerns and explaining care plans • Collaborate with pediatric emergency providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient patient flow • Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately Requirements: • Active state RN license or compact license if applicable • Minimum two years of Pediatric ED or pediatric acute care RN experience • Strong pediatric assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
