A hospital-based private lab is seeking an anatomic/clinical pathologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Oregon. A locum pathologist is needed for MondayFriday coverage from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 1:3 call schedule. Candidates must have AP/CP board certification. The role involves handling a variety of surgical pathology and cytopathology cases, with high volumes in breast, GI, GU, and GYN, as well as frequent GYN cytology. Hematopathology is not required. An active OR license is necessary, with WA and ID licenses preferred but not required. Dates Needed: 7/21 - 8/15 Call Ratio/Schedule: 1:3 Case Load/PPD: 80 Paraffin blocks a day and anywhere from5 to 40 cytology slides per day Shift Type: Day Shift; Call Assignment Type: Inpatient Assignment Duration: Locums Call Required: Yes Board Certification Required: Yes Prescriptive Authority Required: Yes Support Staff: Path Assistants (2), lab assistants and histo techs Government: No Reference ID: ORD-MD-OR
