Job Description Job Description DEALERSHIP SERVICE ADVISOR/WRITER OUR LOCATION Antwerpen Mitsubishi 9400 Liberty Road Randallstown, MD 21133 We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, results-driven Service Advisor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting our service customers, scheduling service while ensuring our customers professional service repair experience. High Energy Motivated Dealership! Qualifications Entry-Level Service Technician Experienced Service Technician Previous experience at an automotive dealership Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge Technical training or commensurate technical experience required Valid Driver's License Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel Must be able to lift to (50) pounds Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions Ability to understand and follow technical manuals Being honest and transparent with people, in an effort to do the right thing within the letter and spirit of the law, drives every action we take and every decision we make Commitment to Customer Enthusiasm Responsibilities As a Car Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks on used vehicles Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Frequently interacts with customers, service manager and service technicians, and employees from various departments in the dealerships Request Necessary Parts and Document services performed.
