The scope for this role is across all of Remitly.As a Senior Security Engineer - Threat Intelligence, you will build tooling/platforms and deploy analytic techniques to service the mission. You will inform internal and external stakeholders so that Remitly can better serve our customers.You will report to the Director, Detection & Response. This role is considered as full remote but we can also support someone who desires in-office time in either Arlington, VA or Seattle, WA.You Will:
- Produce actionable threat intelligence reports and briefings for various stakeholders.
- Own threat intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination processes.
- Manage and optimize threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and related tools.
- Automate threat intelligence workflows and processes using scripting languages (Python, etc.).
- Conduct in-depth analysis of threat data from diverse sources (OSINT, commercial feeds, dark web, etc.).
- Identify and track adversary TTPs, campaigns, and emerging
threats.You Have:
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying threat intel platforms, tools, techniques
- 5+ years producing and delivering intelligence reports for diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with adversary discovery and tracking
- Experience working with TIPs (e.g., Synapse, Maltego, Analyst Notebook), and a detection-as-code mindset
- A degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or
related field (or equivalent experience)Compensation Details. The
starting base salary range for this position is typically
$180,000-$225,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders
in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
