technical curiosity every day. SUMMARY Leads the financial
strategy, accounting, and administrative functions of the company
and serves as a key member of the executive leadership team.
Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash
management, internal controls, and compliance with government
contracting requirements. Advises the President & CEO on financial
strategy, risk management, capital allocation, and long?range
planning while supporting company growth including mergers and
acquisitions in the U.S. defense and intelligence markets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead financial planning,
accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. -
Oversee finance, accounting, purchasing oversight, insurance, and
financial controls. - Direct accounting operations and maintain
proper financial records and internal controls. - Develop and
manage the company’s annual budget and long?range financial plan. -
Provide financial analysis to support executive decision making. -
Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations including
FAR and DFARS. - Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking
relationships. - Oversee cost accounting and financial performance
of manufacturing operations. - Oversee ERP and financial systems
such as NetSuite. - Coordinate external audits and tax reporting. -
Oversee insurance and financial risk management. - Support pricing
strategies and proposal financial analysis. - Participate in
executive strategic planning. MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES - Evaluate acquisition targets within the U.S.
defense and intelligence markets. - Lead financial due diligence
and valuation modeling. - Coordinate with legal and tax advisors
during transactions. - Develop financial integration plans for
acquired companies. - Support post?acquisition integration and
performance monitoring. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Leads the
Finance and Accounting organization including supervision of the
Accounting Manager and the overall performance of the Finance
Department. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting or Finance required. CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum 10–15
years of progressive financial leadership experience. Experience in
government contracting or defense industry environments preferred.

COMPLIANCE / M&A REQUIREMENTS - Experience supporting mergers
and acquisitions involving U.S. defense or intelligence
contractors. - Understanding of FOCI (Foreign Ownership, Control,
or Influence) mitigation requirements. - Experience working with
export control regulations including ITAR / EAR financial
implications. - Ability to support due diligence involving
classified or facility-cleared environments. - U.S. Citizenship
required. Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance

positions. The likely salary range for this position is $225,000 to
$275,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or
salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic
location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall
outside of this range. The above salary range represents a general
guideline; however, API considers a number of factors when
determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions.
