Job Description:
About the Company and Opportunity: • Our client is a government
contractor that is growing • Opportunity to work with a highly
experienced team in the government contracting industry • Our
client needs additional finance support due to the current workload
• Position will be 30 hours/week (Monday - Friday during standard
business hours of 9am -5pm) • An ideal opportunity for candidates
seeking work-life balance and a hybrid work schedule Financial
Analyst Responsibilities: • Financial Analyst will be responsible
for net income forecast monthly • Financial Analyst will be
responsible for cash forecasting • Financial Analyst will be
responsible for cash flow management • Financial Analyst will
complete custom financial reporting based on requests from the bank
• Financial Analyst will be responsible for pricing analysis •
Financial Analyst role will support complex reporting for 25
entities • Financial Analyst position will be assigned different
reports than the Finance Manager • Financial Analyst will complete
ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested Requirements: • 7-10 years
of professional finance experience • Understanding of indirect
rates • Previous government contracting industry experience •
Previous Deltek Costpoint experience is a plus • US Citizen or
authorized to work in the US • Advanced Excel skills - pivot
tables, VLOOKUP's, macros Personality Fit: • Must be a self-starter
• Patience - may take multiple rounds of follow up to get necessary
information • Able to operate independently - CFS just receives a
sheet from the bank and maybe a 5 minute phone call but not a whole
lot more detail • Good communication skills • Strong attention to
detail • Able to do checks and balances • Familiarity with a
company of their size with a larger infrastructure • Team player
