Job Description:
We're partnering with a purpose-driven client seeking a seasoned
Controller to join their leadership team. This is more than a
typical accounting role - it's a seat at the table. Our client is a

who can provide both strategic insight and hands-on leadership to
help scale and strengthen their financial operations. Offering:

team environment (4 days/week on-site). Controller Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting
preferred); CPA strongly preferred. 8 years of accounting
experience, including 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of financial compliance, reporting, and audit
practices -public accounting experience is a plus. Hands-on
experience with UNANET is required. Background in small to
mid-sized government contracting (GovCon) environments is highly
desirable. Comfortable presenting financials and insights directly
to ownership or executive teams. Controller Responsibilities: Lead
core accounting functions, including oversight of AP and AR, while
mentoring a small internal team. Partner with HR to support payroll
processes (currently outsourced). Ensure financial compliance with
government contract requirements - SCA experience is a strong plus.
Manage monthly close, invoicing via UNANET, and prepare detailed
financial reports for senior leadership. Contribute to audits,
process improvement, and strategic planning conversations.
