Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data
• Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
• Support short and long term data warehousing activities through analysis
• Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate
• Skills with influencing others to get to end results, using crucial conversations and emotional intelligence
• Ability to facilitate meetings effectively - with large audience and with Sr. Leadership
• Gathering requirements from the client/business and documenting
• Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes required
• Communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally
• Problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data
• Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures, and data warehouses.
• Work in an Agile Methodology environment
• Accountability in deliverables with the ability to work independently
• Good communications and collaboration skills

  Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field, OR 4+ years of business/finance analysis experience
  • 3+ years of experience in business/finance analysis
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
